What is this?

If you ever want to do a puzzle but don't know which one, you can use this tool: It looks up all the puzzles you own (according to your MySpeedPuzzling collection) and when you have solved them. It will suggest a puzzle based on that data - your oldest solves will be suggested, as well as the puzzles that you haven't logged yet at all. If you don't like the suggestion, use the "reroll" button to get a new one! There are filters for piece count and manufacturers. You can also scroll down and explore the list yourself!

How do I use this tool?

You need a MySpeedPuzzling account, a PAT (see below), and an up-to-date puzzle collection on MSP. Enter your PAT, click "Connect", and enjoy!

What's a PAT and why do I need it?

A PAT is a Personal Access Token. It's needed to access your data on MySpeedPuzzling. You can create one here. Make sure to save it - you won't be able to copy it again after creating it. If you do lose it, you can just delete it and create a new one. It's completely free!

Is this site safe to use?

Absolutely! Your MySpeedPuzzling account is never directly accessed - only the info visible through the MSP API. That means, this tool reads your collections (the "default" collection and any you have created yourself), and your results (the puzzles you have solved including the dates and solving times). No one but you can access that data through this tool (unless you share your PAT, which I do not recommend). This tool will only read your data, it won't edit or delete anything. Your data or any usage statistics is never saved on the server the tool runs on or anywhere else - every time you use this tool, the data is fetched again and recalculated. The only place anything is stored is the local memory of your browser on your device.

Hello, I'm Ina. I've created this tool with the help of an AI called Claude (Sonnet 5). It's running on my personal vserver and my personal domain (shimpooky.space).

Why are puzzles suggested that I have currently lent to someone else?

Unfortunately, the MSP API currently cannot fetch your "Lend & Borrow" list yet, so the tool doesn't know that a puzzle is not at your house right now. I will implement it as soon as the API offers that functionality!
